Like the good shepherd cares for his wondering sheep we care for our guests
We are located near The Greek Orthodox site of the Shepherds' Fields in the middle of “the fields” 2 km southeast of Bethlehem. Shepherds’ field is a land of historical and biblical significance as there are ruins throughout the area from Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic times. Biblical tradition has it that David was born and crowned as the king of Israel in the city of Bethlehem which is minutes away from the Hotel. For Christians, it is identified as the scene where the Angel of the Lord visited the shepherds, and informed them of the birth of Jesus. The Shepherds' House Hotel provides first class service and is built with gleaming Palestinian stone of ancient times, reflecting the spirit of the city and the ancient love of art. The hotel applies hospitality of rich cultural heritage, passed down from generation to generation via tradition, and wisdom of the fathers, linking back to the hospitality of Abraham.
"And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."
Shepherds’ House Hotel is a few minutes drive away from the ‘Nativity Church’, which is the birthplace of Jesus. Staying with us here, means you’re surrounded by picturous green landscapes and mountains, and that you are located in the heart of the historical Shepherds’ Field Town of Beit Sahour

The hotel amenities are pretty nice, the staff are very welcoming. It is located in a nice peaceful area with a beautiful view on all sides of the hotel. The breakfast is delicious. I visited this place in winter and totally loved it.
Rooms were neat and tidy. View was stunning.... Only complaint was the cock crowing from 11 pm right through the night. Meal times were an adventure. Very different but enjoyable all the same. Dessert served at breakfast buffet! No coffee served at dinner time - have to pay extra for this. WiFi worked most of the time. Stayed October 2015, traveled with friends https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g1902315-d2351635-r357918765-Shepherds_House-Beit_Sahour.html#
