We are located near The Greek Orthodox site of the Shepherds' Fields in the middle of “the fields” 2 km southeast of Bethlehem. Shepherds’ field is a land of historical and biblical significance as there are ruins throughout the area from Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic times. Biblical tradition has it that David was born and crowned as the king of Israel in the city of Bethlehem which is minutes away from the Hotel. For Christians, it is identified as the scene where the Angel of the Lord visited the shepherds, and informed them of the birth of Jesus. The Shepherds' House Hotel provides first class service and is built with gleaming Palestinian stone of ancient times, reflecting the spirit of the city and the ancient love of art. The hotel applies hospitality of rich cultural heritage, passed down from generation to generation via tradition, and wisdom of the fathers, linking back to the hospitality of Abraham.
